Jeanstrack, INNOVATIVE SPORTS GARMENTS WHICH CARE ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY

We are in a difficult situation globally, in which our priorities and desires are changing.

At Jeanstrack, we have long been committed to sustainability in our garments and caring for the environment.

Observing how the pollution of the planet is being reduced with this difficult situation (Covid), as a brand aware of the situation, we must set ourselves even stronger objectives so that the footprint that we leave on the planet will be minimal.

Well, there is no going back. Sustainability and environmental responsibility must be a priority at all levels from now on. Jeanstrack, as a brand linked with sports and in contact with nature, has always prioritized respect for the environment when designing each of its production processes. We consider ourselves lovers of nature and jeans.

So we not only create innovative sportswear, we also do it using processes that minimize the impact on the environment.

Thus, all our philosophy is translated into concrete facts that can be observed in our manufacturing chain. First, we are talking about proximity products,  both the design and the manufacture are carried out entirely in Europe. We do it because we reduce the carbon footprint of your products. In addition to ensuring that the workers who create our garments have fair and controlled working conditions.

Currently we are already making our garments with a manufacturing process that is as respectful as possible with the environment. Avoiding the use of products that are harmful to health, using machinery with low environmental impact. Achieving that in the manufacturing process it is possible to save up to 98% in water consumption, 80% in the use of chemical products and 79% in energy consumption. An effort that results in high-quality clothing, local and manufactured using environmentally responsible techniques. In fact, all the materials we use to make our garments have the OEKO TEX 100 ecological certification.

SUSTAINABILITY GOALS

However, at Jeanstrack we want to improve day by day in ensuring that our garments are as sustainable as possible and that our footprint on the planet is as minimal as possible.

For this reason, we are in the process of changing all the packaging from our warehouse to the points of sale and final customers. Seeking that the packaging reaches our customers in a totally ecological format that avoids the use of plastics. That is, remove the plastic at 100%.

We are also committed to using organic fabrics in 90% of the new products we will produce this year. And the use of recycled cotton in 30% of these new products.

Another goal we have in mind is the use of a new materials such as recycled polyester from plastic bottles as an example of the union between innovation and sustainability.

Because for Jeanstrack creating sportswear implies having a priority environmental responsibility in its development and creation.
