The Jeanstrack Turia Jeans is made with a bi-stretch fabric (bi-elastic), that is, the pants are elastic in length and width, which provides a level of comfort and freedom of movement greater than usual. Its main composition is cotton which favors perspiration but also has polyester to provide greater strength and durability to the garment. Being a denim or jeans twill fabric the pants are very resistant to abrasion. This model has sought the highest degree of comfort and freedom of movement thanks also to its fully elastic waist and Velcro closure to avoid any friction and discomfort. Aesthetically it does not stop being a pair of jeans with its worn and aged effect that makes it so attractive and versatile.
The trousers have the following details: adjustable hems by elastic cord and tank, watch pocket for coins and small items, reinforced knees, two front pockets and two jeans-type rear pockets, waist with elastic band of maximum comfort, closure the waist with velcro and zipper, climbing brush holder for right-handed and left-handed, embroidered with the logo and name of JeansTrack.
The Turia Jeans is designed for the practice of climbing and bouldering as well as hiking, trekking or any other outdoor activity but for its casual look and comfort is also a pair of pants that you can use throughout the year to travel or for any other daily use such as going out to buy or go for a drink with friends.
The design and manufacture of this garment have been made in Spain (EU) respecting all regulations respecting the environment and social rights. Being a product of proximity, with your purchase, you contribute to the benefit of your community.
LYCRA® is a synthetic elastane fibre that can stretch up to six times its length and return to its original state, over and over again.
It was invented by Joseph Shivers, a chemist who worked at North American company DuPont in 1959 and patented it that same year, giving it the trade name LYCRA®. When introduced for the first time, elastane revolutionised many areas of the textile industry.
Elastane has been commercialised in the textile sector since its invention, under the trade names NUMA®, UNEI®, DORLASTAN® and LYCRA®, among others. The LYCRA fibre is now the property of the company Invista. It isn't a fabric, but rather one of the fibres that comprise a fabric. Its properties are to provide elasticity and a higher quality than other elastanes. Nowadays it is mostly used in the sports industry, thanks to its flexibility and lightness.
This material works as a continuous filament as it can be either a monofilament or multi-filament.
It is used to form fabrics, but never alone as it is combined with other natural, artificial or synthetic fabrics that provide a more pleasant touch and volume to the fabric.
Main characteristics of LYCRA®
More durable fabric.
Bi-stretch or 4-way stretch refers to fabrics containing fibres with elastic properties (Lycra®, Spandex, elastane, etc.) in both the weft and the warp, i.e., that the fabric both stretches and shrinks both in width, as is common in stretch trousers, and in length.
This characteristic makes the final product extremely flexible and comfortable, and allows the fits to fully adjust without losing comfort. This fabric allows complete freedom of movement and later returns to its initial position.
